SALESmanago integrated with Magento Platform – get to know the possibilities which gives you the integration

SALESmanago has been integrated with a popular e-commerce platform Magento available under an open source licence. Thanks to a special plug, over 200 000 users of Magento can easily integrate their stores with the Marketing Automation system.

Magento is a modern e-Commerce platform available in the open source model. Practically an unlimited access to the source code enables any optional personalization and adaptation of the created stores to suit your own needs. Around the same platform there has grown a large community of active software developers which is growing all the time and is willing to support new Magento users. The reason is that 1 in 4 firms that operate online decide to use Magento.

Now one of the most popular e-Commerce platform is integrated with the largest Polish Marketing Automation system SALESmanago. The process of merging these tools is based on the installation of a plug-in that you can download HERE. In the next step you only need to enter some basic data from the SALESmanago system:

  • API key
  • Customer ID
  • E-mail of the owner – that’s usually that one which we filled in the registration form
  • The so-called endpoint – also given in the Integration tab in SALESmanago

The mentioned data is placed in the menu [SETTINGS] in tab [Integration]

How does the integration work

After installing the SALESmanago plug-in in the Magento eCommerce platform, what comes next is:

1. Automatic tagging of contacts:

  • That log in to the store
  • That register a new account in the store
  • That make orders

All tags for these groups of contacts are fully customizable.

2. Synchronization of the database between the store and SALESmanago

  • Automatically send contact database
  • Two-way exchange of data between the systems in the real time

3. Automatic update of consents to receive e-mail messages

  • Synchronization of every change in the newsletter/subscriber module
  • Synchronization of mailing unsubscriptions
  • Synchronization of the manual change of the status of subscription for the shipment

4. The exchange of data related to purchase

  • Exchange of transactional data
  • Sending of basket content
  • Information on the purchase or cart abandonment

Each Magento user will automatically get to the SALESmanago system. There also begins monitoring of the transactional messages about adding products to the cart and the order processing. Apart from the registered users, the integration supports monitoring of the users which are making purchases in the store, but they’re only giving their e-mail addresses. The developed integration maximally simplifies the implementation and reduces the time required to start automating marketing and sales in e-Commerce in the Magento platform. Users of the integration get access to all functionalities of SALESmanago Marketing Automation. It includes:

1. Identification and monitoring behaviors of the online store visitors

The system monitors behaviors of individual people that are browsing through the offer of the store. On basis of this information, it builds their profile. Thanks to that, we know what exactly are individual users interested in and at what stage of the buying decision they are at a given moment. Thanks to that, we can better adapt the communication to the needs of individual people.

2. Automatic dynamic e-mail messages with a tailored offer

On the basis of the client’s profile the system automatically matches products to his needs and places them in an e-mail message template. The precisely matched e-mail message can be sent shortly after the visit of the contact on the WWW website. These types of messages are adjusted in terms of time and content shipment to an individual recipient achieve approximately 400% higher conversion rates, their OR and CTRs increase by accordingly 44% and 18%.

3. E-mail messages with the abandoned cart

Automatic e-mail message sending including the client’s abandoned cart and reminding about the possibilities of its’ purchasing effectively reduce the number of abandonments. Additionally, it often increases the average value of purchases, because clients seek to maximally use the fixed cost of delivery.

4. Product recommendations on the website of the store

The mechanism that adjusts products sent in the e-mail message to the user profile can also effectively display the matched products in the form of product frames on the website of the online store.

5. Matched and personalized contact forms

A contact form can also be adjusted to the behavior of the WWW website visitors. In an automated way it can match its’ content to the course of anonymous visits and indentified WWW website users. As a result, it will offer assistance in the choice of a product the client’s looking for. The better contact form is matched to the needs of individual customers, the more conversions and acquired contacts we get.
